How to drop quickly and land faster in Hyper Scape

Free-to-play battle royale game Hyper Scape made a quick landing, immediately entering closed beta alongside its official unveiling. It can pay to use similar tactics in-game, as the first squads to get their feet on the ground generally get the best loot. If you’re wondering how to drop quickly and land faster in Hyper Scape, then you’re in the right place. Here’s everything you need to know about speeding up the deployment phase.

As with any BR game, the deployment phase can make all the difference. How, when, and where you land can decide whether you make it to the end or die within the first couple of minutes. You have to be smart, and knowing how to speed up your descent can be a real boon when it comes to making tactical decisions. Thankfully, dropping quickly and landing faster in Hyper Scape is incredibly simple. All that you need to do is hold down the “W” key when playing on PC. If using a controller, you’ll just need to push forwards on the left analog stick.

In addition to going faster, you can also slow your descent in Ubisoft‘s debut battle royale title. To do so, you’ll need to hold down the “S” key on your keyboard. For those using a gamepad on PC or playing the eventual PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hyper Scape, simply pull back on the left analog stick instead. This can be useful to scope out whether or not there are enemies in a location before committing to landing there, and also to regroup with your squadmates if you’ve become too spread out.
