To fast travel in Ghost of Tsushima, you need to first clear key areas of Mongols. Once you have cleared these particular areas of your Mongolian enemy, you are able to fast travel to that location. Simply open up your map screen, move the cursor to your fast travel location choice, and press ‘Triangle’ to fast travel. It’s a simple process and one that will come in handy throughout Ghost of Tsushima.

You should be able to fast travel to different key areas and landmarks such as villages, Forges, and more. What’s more, when hovering over a Forge location (as you can see in the image above), the game will let you in on any weapon upgrades and items available at that location. There will be a load screen every time you fast travel, but it should always be quicker than reaching that location on foot or on horseback.

You’ll make use of fast travel in Ghost of Tsushima throughout your playthrough. Remember, you’ll need to clear an area of Mongols before you can fast travel to that location. This means you might have to clear an area of a Leader, with observing them a key aspect towards your success. Now get out there and explore that map, taking out any Mongols you come across to unlock fast travel in that area.
