Destroy All Humans | How to electrocute scientists with Tesla coils

Nailing down how to electrocute scientists with Tesla coils in Destroy All Humans is bizarrely hard to figure out. You’d think you would just have to fling the Albert Einstein soundalikes into the Tesla coils and be good. But this challenge is not as easy as it sounds. Here’s how to do electrocute the scientists in mission 21. You’ll need to complete this optional objective for the Mandatory Option trophy or achievement.

There are a few different areas that have scientists that you can electrocute in mission 21 (Shocking Developments) for the optional objective. Remember, the scientists are the those who look and sound like caricatures of Albert Einstein so don’t go into the sites with the Tesla coils and start shooting indiscriminately.

To electrocute the scientists, you’ll need to have your Zap-O-Matic out. Once you have that weapon ready, pick up a scientist with psychokinesis.

After you have the scientist in your grasp, walk over to the Tesla coil and zap the coil with your Zap-O-Matic. This should chain together and electrocute the scientist. Just repeat this process three times and you should have it. Only a few of the sites even have scientists so be careful. Some of them can die by other causes, but there still aren’t that many of them to spare.

If you mess up, just reload the mission. Because of that, it might be better to go to the sites with scientists first in order to get this optional challenge out of the way before continuing.

Doing this will indirectly help you with a trophy since you need to do every optional challenge to get the Mandatory Option trophy. If you want help with the rest of the trophies, you can check out our trophy guide and roadmap.
