To get Woods in Modern Warfare and Warzone, you need to pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This Operator is part of the Woods Operator Pack, a pre-order bonus for the upcoming game.

Yes, that means you’ll have to spend actual money if you want to unlock Woods. However, this will be a non-issue for die-hard Call of Duty fans, for whom buying Black Ops Cold War is a given.

Once you pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, you’ll be given a code to redeem the Woods Operator Pack. This DLC bundle includes Frank himself as well as the Old Faithful M4A1 blueprint, the Down You Go quip, and the Payback finisher.

Before you go dropping your hard-earned dollars on the upcoming release, it’s worth considering which platforms you intend to play the game on. Black Ops Cold War is one of a few titles releasing on the fringe of next-gen consoles. As such, several versions of the game include cross-generation support.

Fortunately, pre-ordering any version of Cold War will entitle you to the Woods Operator Pack. Best of all, your new Operator can be used in both Modern Warfare and Warzone. You’ll effectively be able to use the same character in three separate Call of Duty games.

If you want to get Woods in Modern Warfare or Warzone, you need to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It’s a bit costly, but you’ll be able to swagger around the battlefield 80s-style and support the development team at the same time.
