Character Guide (A and B Rank)







Players can obtain new characters in Terra Battle with the requisite Energy. Head to the tavern with at least five Energy to select a new character from the Pact of Truth. At that point, you will receive a random character to join the squad. Some characters simply join as part of the story though, so keep that in mind.



Characters fall into one of four ranks: SS, S, A, or B. The rankings denote rarity, with SS being the most rare. In addition, players can recruit beasts at the Tavern with the Pact of Fellowship. This requires coins and often results in lesser squad members, but if you have the coins to spend it's worth a shot.



Listed below are all characters that fall under the A or B class. SS and S rank characters can be found in our other Character Guide. Also, this guide only lists starting classes, though characters can obtain multiple jobs with different abilities.



A Rank



A'merpact



A'merpact the lizardman can exhale breath as bleak and biting as a blizzard. The area around his mouth is perpetually frozen, with icicles dangling like drool. Though somewhat slovenly in appearance, he fancies himself quite the ladies' man. Far from being disheartened by women's rejections, he merely blames their lack of judgment and taste.

Burbaba



Burbaba is a beastman warrior with massive bear-like arms and long, sharp claws. His fighting style is quite distinctive. He starts by pressing opponents without bothering to defend himself. He doesnt flinch when struck by the first blow. When the second, third, and fourth blows land, he merely laughs. Once the fifth blow lands, he speaks at last: "Gimme more!"

Daiana



Stonefolk witches have distinctive mode of communication that involves copious amounts of alcohol. Daiana seems as if she might melt from all the alcohol she consumes. She has no interest in pathetic men. Perhaps that is why she drinks so much.

Eileen



Eileen is a highly acclaimed singer with a voice as lethal as it is lovely, for she can use it in battle to mesmerize foes. While her beautiful voice swells with emotion and stirs the soul, she herself is of a calm, cool temperament. And just as the brightest light casts the deepest shadows, the radiant songstress's heart seethes with a viscous darkness. Co-stars who've spent a night with her have allegedly fled upon hearing her mumble in her sleep, "I've not killed a thing of late..." and do not ask her age...ever.

Kana



Kana is a beastwoman well versed in the medicines of her people. Her glasses are a distinguishing feature, as few of her kind wear them. Her gentle and easygoing nature makes her unsuited to battle in the front lines, but she is valuable as a medic. She also serves as a teacher in her spare time. While she has no shortage of knowledge, her work ethic and innate naivete have left her largely inexperienced with the opposite sex.

Ka'pori



As his epithet suggests, Ka'pori has an enormous mouth, which is probably why his voice is so loud and obnoxious. He spends a frightening amount of money on his nightly drinking habits --enough to single-handedly escalate the area's Engel coefficient. Worse, he never brushes his teeth, so his breath is foul beyond belief. Still, he is not without redeeming qualities. For example, there's...um...er...hm. Well, nothing comes to mind right now, but there must be someone out there who can attest to this.

Kem



Kem is one of the stonefolk youngsters who will lead the next generation of his people. While he was raised by civilizations about as far removed from military affairs as could be, his true father was a veteran spearman. Although he did not know it, he too was destined to take up the spear. The fateful moment took place at the barbecue for a local children's club. The spear he picked up felt instantly familiar in his hands, as though it were meant to be.

Korin



Korin is one of the stonefolk youngsters who will lead the next generation of his people. His greatsword, far too large for his small statue, is a keepsake from his father. It is a sacred sword passed down through generations of stonefolk, and it is said that if one pure of heart offers it a prayer, it will confer tremendous power. Korin does not yet have the skill to wield the sacred blade proficiently, nor will it respond to him while he continues to overreach himself at his rebellious age.

Manmer



Manmer the stoneman can always be found in a crouching position. Though this was originally an effort to minimize energy consumption, at some point it made him introverted and melancholy. On the bright side, he's developed an extraordinary sense of creativity. The elaborate design painted on his stone shield is his own work and demonstrates the depth of his artistic sophistication.

Maralme



Maralme is a 37-year old warrior and legendary dragon slayer. She is a living legend revered by dragon slayers of the world over and the head of their clan. Her eyes blaze a fiery red, the mark of one born to battle dragons. Although scars cover her body, not one has resulted from a mortal wound. They are remarkable evidence of her unparalleled judgment. Her splendid crimson armor is regarded as a clan treasure.

Metupi



Metupí the stoneman is a young surgeon who takes pride in his strong physical beauty, and he is fascinated by the physical beauty that comes with perfect balance. He is a member of the Upi Foundation, which pursues beauty, preaches the magnificence of art, and promotes the spiritual elevation and expansion of the mind. Only twenty years of age, Metupí is already a fine young man with a powerfully muscular body and nimble hands. He is a scion of the Upi clan, which has maintained the spiritual elevation of the mind through the pursuit of beauty. As a surgeon, his scalpel technique is known as an art unto itself. He can also create accessories like a true master.

Nakupi is a warrior with long hair that flows freely in the wind. He is unusually vain for a stoneman and openly proclaims himself the epitome of manly beauty. He is also heir to the Upi Foundation, which pursues beauty, preaches the magnificence of art, and promotes the spiritual elevation and expansion of the mind. His pet phrase is "Immortalize beauty," and true those words, he uses an ancient device to capture images to film for posterity.

Pahrl



Pahrl is one of the stonefolk youngsters who will lead the next generation of her people. As the daughter of a warrior family--quite rare among the stonefolk--there are high expectations for her future. To that end, she's received the very finest education. She's learned to string bowstrings across her stony arms to launch multiple arrows at once. She can also pluck them like the strings of a harp to create music.

R'zonand is a pretentious lizardman born to flirt with the ladies. He wears a red scarf and handkerchief with his best satin suit. He always carries a single rose, and when he raises it to the heavens, a tempest of rose petals comes swirling down. This phenomenon is a phantasmal art born of his innate magic power. It is said that each petal is suffused with sorrow.

Samupí is a young man of the stonefolk who has patterns shaved into his closely cropped hair and sports tattoos all over his body. The utter confidence expressed in his appearance and bearing attests to his personal belief that he is truly handsome. He is member of the Upi Foundation, which pursues beauty, preaches the magnificence of art, and promotes the spiritual elevation and expansion of the mind.

S'naip is a most unconventional archer, using his own tail as a bow. He is a taciturn warrior and meditates before major battles. He strives to hone his archery even further through this serene spirituality.

Velraine



Velraine's azure eyes are a sign that the dragon blood flowing in her veins has yet to awaken. She keeps her hair short, as women of the clan are not permitted to grow it out until they officially come of age. Her pent up rage once got the better of her, sending her on a blind rampage that resulted in tremendous damage. Some attributed this to the first stirrings of dracogenesis in her blood.

Amazora



Amazora is a female warrior who deftly wields a sword in each hand. This dual wield technique allows an integrated offense and defense, which she combines with leaps and spins that seem to defy gravity. Her acrobatic swordplay, widely renowned, has been dubbed "Zero Gravity."

But even she has found something she loves deeply: wildflowers--for even the smallest bloom proudly and profusely.

Ba'gunar



Ba'gunar, the self-proclaimed king of the lizardfolk, fell into hibernation when he stumbled into a trap at the top of the Tower of Temptation, an arcane structure built by the ancient civilization of Gallus. He is highly volatile, prone to flying into rages instantly and stumbling into traps often. When questioned about why he was at the top of the tower in the first place, he was unable to give a straight answer.

Gigojago is a renowned marksman who's super long-range shots literally freeze enemies n their tracks by sapping them of all energy with ice. Though he has but one eye, he has a highly developed sense of spatial awareness thanks to exceptionally keen hearing an an innate sixth sense. He's also become an avid stargazer, developing an interest in the universe while charting positions by the stars.

Grace



Grace of Thanvarahaer lives with her huntsman father deep in the mountains. She is about 15 years old, though her exact age is unknown as her father is rather careless sort. She can commune with wild animals, and while she deeply respects them, she will hunt them in order to survive. She is already a better shot with the bow than her father at long ranges.

Kuscah



Kuscah is an aging cleric on a never-ending spiritual journey. He is quite spry for his age and is always telling jokes. Though corny, they (sometimes) bring smiles to his fellow travelers, making him a welcome presence on the road. His optimism is overshadowed only by his insatiable appetite, which is all too apparent from his large belly. While it bothers him somewhat, he is flexible enough to accept such changes as he continues to grow and develop on his travels.

Ma'curi



Ma'curi is a lizardfolk warrior who boasts that he's survived on strength alone.He was, in fact, forced to survive alone in the wild after being abandoned by his parents as a child. A starving marten attacked him shortly after he was abandoned, leaving him on the brink of death. A band of passing thugs saved him, but they drew him into a life in which he was forced to fight their battles. The battle scars he wears are a testament to his strength.

O'pari



O'pari is a lizardman warrior clad in several layers of heavy armor. While lizardfolk are known for their tough skin, his armor elevates that natural defense into a class of its own. What's more, countless miniature crossbows are mounted on his armor to complement the colossal crossbow he carries, effectively transforming him into a one-man artillery unit.

Ra'prow



Ra'prow the lizardman treasures the ancient relic he carries. Known as Magic Melody Earmuffs, it emits pleasing bass-heavy music when he activities the device at the end of it's cord. He loves to speak rapid-fire rhymes in the time with the rhythm.

Sh'berdan



Sh'berdan is a slender, high-strung lizardman. The lizardfolk subspecies to which he belongs has skin pores that emit an odor reminiscent of fish entrails during the mating season. Surprisingly, there's a perfume on the market made with an extract of that odor-causing agent. Who would buy such a perfume is a mystery, but judging by the licensing fee he collects every month, it seems that there is a demand. Incidentally, Sh'berdan is a gifted military tactician as well. He can survey entire battlefields in a glance with her wide field of vision and exceptional discernment of detail in moving objects.

Sorman is an ancient sage who has lived far longer than any mortal man, for he has the power to absorb the life energy that is all around him. But to attain such power, he had to devote his life to a hellish regimen of aesthetic training.

U'nasag the lizardman is an aquatic warrior whose entire body is covered in special spine-like scales. In water, he can greatly expand the large webbing on his hands and use it to stir up a seething torrent that easily engulfs his enemies. When out of water, he has no choice but to fight with his trusty spear.

Zan



Zan is a warrior from a martial race of stonefolk. His aggressive nature is readily apparent from the tattoos on his clean-shaven head. He's a dangerous thrill-seeker who loves to spend his time off surfing lava flows. Few women can resist the male pheromones emitted by this wild stoneman.

Zenzoze is a beastman with terrible destructive urges. Unable to control these urges that flare up within his soul, he wreaks destruction until everything around him lies in ruins. A self-preservation instinct takes over during this time, and it is only afterward that he realizes what he's done. These incidents fill him with despair and loathing, for they have occurred time and time again throughout his life.
