Genshin Impact players will eventually need to find items they can use for Ascension. These vary by character, and they’re oftentimes difficult to find. This is the case with Jueyun Chili, which is used for all of Xiangling’s Ascensions. However, this little pepper can also be used in certain crafting recipes, specifically ones that restore health and revive party members. If you need more Jueyun Chili in your life, here’s where to find some.
Where to find Jueyun Chili in Genshin Impact
Jueyun Chili peppers are located in several places across Liyue, typically toward the western expanses. It can be found growing in the wild around Qingyun Peak, and several of them are located on the outskirts of Qingce Village. Two Jueyun Chili plants can be found within Qingce Village itself.
If you only need a few, head to Qingce Village first, then inspect the area directly west of the city walls. Look for the short trees with red-hued peppers hanging from the branches. Once you know what to look for, two more of these plants can be found on the northern end of the village, just a short ways south of the cliff walls.
If you need a bunch of these chilis, start looking around Qingyun Peak. Six of these plants grow in the area immediately around Jueyun Karst, and two more follow the river flowing south of Mt. Aozang. There’s one more on the largest island of Huanguang Forest, with two more flanking the water’s edge west of Qingyun Peak.
Chances are good that you’ll need Jueyun Chili to unlock Ascensions for Xiangling. Three are needed for her first Ascension, while that number blooms up to 60 for her sixth and final Ascension. In addition to the chilis, you’ll also need Agnidus Agate items (Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and eventually Gemstones) in addition to Everflame Seeds and Slime Concentrates.
