The Little Hope cast has a few familiar faces in it as there are actors from mainstream films to secondary characters in popular TV shows. And unlike some video games, they are probably familiar because of how some of the game models their in-game faces to their real-life faces. Here’s the list of Little Hope actors so players can match the faces to the name in the second installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology.
Little Hope Cast | Who are the actors?
Pip Torrens as The Curator
Pip Torrens is a face Man of Medan players might remember as he also played The Curator, the director-like character that talks to the user, in Man of Medan. Torrens is known for his role in the Preacher TV show, Black Mirror, Star Wars: Episode 7 – The Force Awakens, and Pride and Prejudice, just to name a few. He will likely return for House of Ashes, the third entry in the Dark Pictures Anthology.
Will Poulter as Andrew, Anthony and Abraham
Will Poulter is probably the most recognizable face in the game and performs the “main” protagonist Andrew as well as Anthony and Abraham. While many characters have multiple iterations, Poulter is the only person to portray all three roles in all three time periods.
He’s known for such films as Detroit, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, We’re the Millers, Midsommar, and Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. The last two are particularly relevant to Little Hope, given how the former is a horror movie and the latter is an interactive experience concerning video games. There’s an interview with him in the game’s special features.
Caitlyn Sponheimer as Taylor and Tanya
Caitlyn Sponheimer has two roles within the game as Taylor and Tanya. Sponheimer is known for writing the 2018 film April in Autumn as well as her short role in the first season of Amazon’s The Boys.
Rebecca Brierley as Tabitha
Rebecca Brierley voiced Tabitha, the 1692 version of Taylor. Brierley also doesn’t have a long list of credits but was in the 2015 film, Pleasure Island.
Alex Ivanovici as John and James
Alex Ivanovici is the father figure in all three time periods as he plays John, James, and Joseph. Ivanovici has played small roles in big films like 300 and X-Men: Days of Future Past, but has also done some video game work as well. And, like David, he has played in quite a few Ubisoft games. He voiced Bartolomeo d’Alviano in Assassins Creed 2 and Brotherhood, as well as other voices in Rainbow Six: Vegas, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Watch Dogs, and I Am Alive. He’s also voiced characters in Outlast and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Martin Walsh as Joseph
Martin Walsh plays Joesph, who is the old timey double to John. Walsh has had minor roles in a long list of shows, one of which was Game of Thrones.
Ellen David as Angela and Anne
Ellen David voices Angela and Anne. David, who doesn’t look at all like her character model, has played roles in moves like Goon, but has also had a few roles in the Assassin’s Creed series. She voiced Ezio’s mother, Maria, in Assassin’s Creed 2 and Brotherhood, Queen Victoria in Syndicate. David has also had minor roles in the original Splinter Cell and Watch Dogs, showing her long working relationship with Ubisoft.
Louise Atkins as Amy
Louise Atkins is Amy — Anne’s doppelgänger in 1692. She has played a few minor roles in some television shows like Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
Kyle Bailey as Daniel and Dennis
Kyle Bailey plays Daniel and Dennis in Little Hope, the game’s “jock” in the present day and brother in 1972. Bailey’s list of credits aren’t quite as long when compared the credits of his colleagues, but he’s been in a few TV series like Heartland and Bitten.
Scott Haining as David
Bailey did not voice all three versions of Daniel, which means Scott Haining filled in as David, the 1692 version of Daniel. Haining has had a couple roles in shows like Waterloo Road and The Innocents.
Holly Smith as Mary
Holly Smith is likely one of the younger of the crew, which means it is only fitting that she plays the child, Mary in 1692.
Ella Rose Roderre as Megan
Ella Rose Roderre voices Mary’s double, Megan, in the 1972 time period. She is young but has roles in the French series True North and the child’s show, Snowsnaps.
Kevin Hanchard as Vince
Kevin Hanchard is Vince in Little Hope, the man you meet at the bar and constantly around the town. Hanchard has been in popular shows like Orphan Black, big-name movies Suicide Squad, and even games like Watch Dogs 2.
David Smith as Reverend Carver
David Smith plays the evil (or not so evil, depending on the perspective of the player) Reverend Carver in the 1692 flashbacks. He is similar to Louise Atkins in that he has also had a lot of minor roles over the years, including Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
