Unfogging the map in Immortals Fenyx Rising sounds pretty straightforward until it comes to the Gates of Tartaros section. This area doesn’t have a telltale statue, making it hard to know what structure to climb and sync. Players will need to clear this part of the map to get the “Bird’s-Eye View” trophy or achievement. Here’s how to unfog the Gates of Tartaros part of the map in Immortals.

To unlock the Gates of Tartaros area of the map in Immortals Fenyx Rising, players have to climb the giant volcano in the center of it. But, being a volcano, it is a circular in shape, making it hard to find out what to climb. Be sure to climb up the south side of the volcano and on the face carved into the rock. The exact spot on the map is in the above picture.

Once the player gets high enough and close enough, a prompt will appear and a little icon will pop up on the map. It will be a small, purple-tinted volcano.

Go to it and hit the interact button to get the Assassin’s Creed-like panoramic view of the landscape.

Doing this will unfog the Gates of Tartaros part of the map. This section can be confusing as the other parts of the game have obvious sync points that the game points out to the player. They are all mandatory for going through each of the game’s sections. The Gates of Tartaros sync point is optional and very easy to miss since only a sliver of that portion is part of the main game. Once synced, players will be able to see the chests and side missions on the map screen in the Gates of Tartaros, which makes going for upgrades and ambrosia that much easier. It can also be fast traveled to like the big lyres.
