Oddworld: Soulstorm endings guide

There are multiple Oddworld: Soulstorm endings and they expand upon the pattern started in the very first game. These five endings can be difficult to get and will require focus and that the player achieve certain feats. Here’s how to get the best ending in Oddworld: Soulstorm as well as the others.

How to get the best Oddworld: Soulstorm ending

Oddworld: Soulstorm endings guide

To get the best ending in Oddworld: Soulstorm (called the Final Ending), players have to save 80% of the Mudokons in every single level. Saving 80% of the Mudokons in the first 15 levels will open up the final two. This does not mean saving a total of 80% of the Mudokons in the whole game; it’s on a level by level basis. This ending also has the “newspaper cinematic” that implies a bigger uprising is on the way.

Thankfully, if players have not saved the appropriate amount of Mudokons, they can go into the level select menu and see the stats for each level and go from there.

Just make sure the Quarma is above 80% like in the above picture. Also be careful as levels played through level select have to be beaten without quitting out. Closing the game will not save progress in level select. Once the criteria has been met, choose the final level and play that again.

How to get the good Oddworld: Soulstorm ending

To get the good ending in Oddworld: Soulstorm, players have to save 80% of the Mudokons in at least 12 levels. This ending unlocks the final two levels. It’s like most of the true ending, but without the ending cinematic with the newspapers.

How to get the bad Oddworld: Soulstorm ending

To get the bad ending in Oddworld: Soulstorm, players have to save 80% of the Mudokons in only seven to 11 levels. This ending does not let players play the final two levels and is quite explosive. Just go into level select and find levels where less than 80% of the Mudokons have been saved and go from there. It is not clear if players can earn this ending once they’ve already gotten the good endings.

How to get the worst Oddworld: Soulstorm ending

To get the worst ending in Oddworld: Soulstorm, players have to save 80% of the Mudokons in six or fewer levels. This is a catastrophic ending that also cuts off the final two levels. This essentially squashes the myth of Abe’s uprising through newspapers and tells the player that a lot of Mudokons died. It is not clear if players can earn this ending once they’ve already gotten the good endings. Go through level select and save 80% of the Mudokons in more levels to get a better ending.
