Grime is a Soulslike Metroidvania that seemingly sprung up out of nowhere. It’s garnering rave reviews from critics and users alike on PC, Mac, and Google Stadia. What about Grime console versions, though? Is there a Grime Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One release date? Here’s the latest from developer Clover Bite.
What is the Grime Nintendo Switch release date?
Grime is “hopefully” coming to Nintendo Switch in the future. The developers are eager to produce a Grime Switch port to follow the PC, Mac, and Stadia versions’ August 2, 2021 release date.
After receiving a question about Grime coming to consoles, the developer had this to say: “Hopefully, but no news as of yet!” This isn’t a guarantee that players will see a Grime Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED model launch in the future, of course. That said, it’s a promising early sign.
Hopefully, but no news as of yet!

What is the Grime PS5 and PS4 release date?
The developers are “hopeful” that Grime will come to PlayStation consoles in the future. In time, there could be a Grime PS5 and PS4 release date to follow on from its initial August 2, 2021 launch on other platforms.
Although the dev team has “no news as of yet” on a Grime PlayStation port, Clover Bite is currently considering the possibility. The studio has shown an interest in bringing its dark platformer to consoles, which would presumably include both the PS4 and PS5 systems.
What is the Grime Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One release date?
Grime is available now on PC, Mac, and Stadia following its August 2, 2021 launch. There will “hopefully” be a Grime Xbox version in the future, according to the developers. Although there isn’t one yet, a Grime Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One release date is a definite possibility.
Clover Bite doesn’t have any news on additional platforms yet, though hopes to make Grime console versions happen according to this tweet.
