What If? Episode 10

What If? Episode 10 release date and time

When is Marvel’s What If? episode 10 coming out? The episode 10 release date gives us a glimpse at when we can next expect some animated multiverse-based adventures featuring classic MCU characters. With episode 9 out now, Marvel fans are looking forward to the next installment in the series — but when can we expect it? Well, it’s bad news for those looking for a What If? episode 10 release date and time. Here’s why.

When is the What If? episode 10 release date and time?

What If? Episode 10

The What If? episode 10 release date and time would be Wednesday, October 13. However, there won’t be an episode that day, as the recent episode 9 was the season finale.

Yes, What If? was plugged as a nine-episode show when first announced way back in summer 2019. Considering all those episodes are now out, and the season’s arc is concluded, it officially marks the end of this first iteration of episodes. It’ll come as bad news to fans wanting more from What If? but for now, the show’s run is over.

Fear not though, as there technically will be a tenth episode of What If? in the future. That’s because a second season of the show was confirmed by Kevin Feige back in December 2019. This second installment of What If? will also comprise nine episodes — so we’ll definitely get an episode 10 in the future.

However, it’s hard to predict when to expect the second season to release. Considering production on What If? season one was delayed by COVID — to the extent that a whole episode was pulled from release, and saved for season 2 — it could be a long wait. It likely also depends on events within the MCU, as this season ties closely into the consequences of the Loki season finale. It’ll likely be a year away at the minimum — but it should be worth waiting for.
