Black Ops Cold War Choose Class Stuck Fix

Black Ops Cold War ‘Choose Class’ Stuck Fix: How to close menu

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War “Choose Class” stuck menu bug or glitch is appearing for some unlucky players. The error causes the “Choose Class” menu to be permanently stuck on the player’s screen, preventing them from moving or shooting. Thankfully, there’s a fix. Here’s how to fix the Black Ops Cold War “Choose Class” menu glitch.

How to fix the Black Ops Cold War “Choose Class” stuck menu issue

Black Ops Cold War Choose Class Stuck Fix

To fix the Black Ops Cold War “Choose Class” stuck menu, players must do the following:

  • Keeping pressing the back button.
    • Whether it’s Escape on PC, “Circle” on PS5 and PS4, or “B” on Xbox, players will want to keep pressing the button to back out of the menu.
  • Leave the game.
    • Unfortunately, one of the only ways to fix this issue is to leave the current game.
  • Restart Call of Duty.
    • If the issue persists, shut the game down. Then reboot the game and play as normal.

The Black Ops Cold War “Choose Class” menu glitch has started to appear after the recent Season 6 update. When players are in the class menu and the game moves to a final killcam, the class menu can get stuck. There may be other triggers in addition to the killcam one.

A more permanent fix will hopefully be added by the developer, Treyarch Studios, in an upcoming patch. Here’s hoping the “Choose Class” getting stuck error doesn’t ruin the upcoming double XP and double Weapon XP for players.
