Ready or Not is now available via Steam Early Access, giving first-person shooter fans a new tactical co-op game to experience. Unfortunately, not every PC out there can run this game smoothly, with older systems potentially seeing stutters, lag, and low FPS. While it can be tough to hit 60 FPS even at 1080p, GameRevolution is here to help folks get a higher frame rate with this Ready or Not PC best settings guide.
What are the best settings for Ready or Not on PC?
Though it’s only just launched in an early access state, Ready or Not already has a good number of graphics options that players can tweak to get better visuals or improve performance. After playing around with all of the settings and monitoring how they impact performance and whether or not they are worth the drop in quality, GameRevolution has found that the following settings are best for more FPS:

- Resolution: 2560×1440 (Screen’s native.)
- Resolution Scale: 100%
- Field Of View: 90
- ADS Zoom: Enabled
- Texture Quality: Epic
- Shadow Quality: Medium
- Post Processing Quality: Low
- Anti-Aliasing Quality: High
- VFX Quality: Low
- View Distance: High
- Optiwand FPS: 60
- Frame Limit: Disabled
- Motion Blur: Disabled
- VSYNC: Disabled
- Flashlight Bounce Light: Enabled
- DLSS Quality: Quality
In our testing, lowering the texture quality from “Epic” resulted in performance issues. Your mileage may vary with that setting.
Setting the Optiwand FPS to 60 makes it a much smoother feed. However, it may come at the cost of performance, so dial it back if the FPS loss isn’t worth it.
DLSS is available only to newer Nvidia graphics cards. If Quality doesn’t give enough of a performance boost, Balanced is the next best choice, followed by Performance.
