Xbox Game Pass April 2022: New Games Added

Like clockwork, Microsoft is adding a rotation of new games for Xbox Game Pass April 2022. For the last two weeks of April 2022, the subscription service will be adding several new games and updating existing games already downloadable through Xbox Game Pass.

What new games are being added to Xbox Game Pass for April 2022?

Available starting now are F1 2021 and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered through the cloud via EA Play and Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion for the cloud, console, and PC via ID@Xbox, as mentioned in an official Xbox blog post.

As the name implies, F1 2021 allows players to create a team and race on the most famous tracks in Formula 1, while Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered gives you the chance to revisit the original title as an outlaw or a cop with a fresh new coat of paint. Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion has you play the titular turnip attempting to solve puzzles and explore dungeons to avoid paying a corrupt mayor.

Available later in the month of April 2022 are 7 Days to Die on April 26, Research and Destroy on April 26, Bugsnax on April 28, and Unsouled on April 28. All of these games are available on consoles and PC, with 7 Days to Die and Bugnax specifically available via the cloud.

As for DLC and game updates, Microsoft would like to remind players of the No Man’s Sky Outlaw update which adds space pirates and the ability to create your squadron. Age of Empires IV will be getting its first season of 1v1 ranked seasonal events called The Festival of Ages, while Ark: Survival Evolved has new Easter-inspired event loot available in Eggcellent Adventure through to April 25. Players can hunt monsters in the Sea of Thieves: The Shrouded Deep event from April 21 to May 12, and second seasonal adventure of Minecraft Dungeons called Luminous Night will start on April 20.

Four games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 30 as well, including Cricket 19, Outlast 2, Secret Neighbor, and Streets of Rage 4. In the next two months, Xbox Game Pass will be expanding its catalog of Ubisoft games too, adding Assassin’s Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition.

In other news, the latest 1.04 update for Elden Ring has released with major boosts to strength-based builds, and rumors say that the Xbox Game Pass Family Plan release date has been planned for this year’s holiday season.
