The Quordle 100 answer has been revealed for May 4, 2022. Luckily, today’s puzzle isn’t too challenging, apart from maybe the words in the top-left and bottom-left corners due to them having some uncommon letters. But none of the words are particularly unusual like “SYNOD” from a previous daily puzzle. If you need a hint for the top-left word, it is mainly used as an interjection. Need the full solution? Then you can find it in the section below.
What is the Quordle answer 100? (May 4, 2022)
The Quordle answer 100 is:
- “VOILA”
- “SILLY”
- “AWAKE”
- “PHONE”
As noted before, the first word is the trickiest as it’s not as commonly used as the other three, and because of its rather unique letter structure. But all of its vowels only appear once, so it shouldn’t be difficult to get the back part of “-OILA” before figuring out that the only letter that could complete the word is with a “V.”
The other three words are fairly simple, especially “SILLY” and “PHONE.” “AWAKE” could give you trouble if you aren’t lucky enough to type in a “W” or “K” in one of your guesses, or if the double usage of the vowel “A” trips you up a bit. But if you’ve been playing Quordle for awhile, none of these words should stump you.
Since Quordle has nine guesses for four words, instead of classic Wordle that has six guesses for only one word, the opening strategy is a bit different. Unless you’re able to get many letters confirmed in the yellow or green right at the start, it’s best to make your first few guesses several words with distinct letters from each other and that include all of the vowels (including the “Y”). For example, you can use a combination of “THANE,” “LUCKY,” and “ROIDS.” That way, you can get rid of as many common letters as possible and then use the process of elimination more easily by the end of the puzzle.
If you’re looking for some practice puzzles, you can find them on the official Quordle website. If you want to play more daily puzzles, though, it’s a bit of risk. You’ll need to change your device’s internal clock to a different day and then reload the site. This puts your browser’s cookies in danger, though, so if you want to protect your hot streak, it’s recommended that you use this exploit on an entirely different device or browser.
