Better Call Saul has concluded the first part of its sixth season, with the Breaking Bad prequel edging closer to its finale. The last episode left Saul and Kim in a tight spot with Lalo, with viewers eager to see what the future holds for the characters — particularly for Lalo and Kim, whose destinies are still unknown.
But while Better Call Saul has followed a familiar weekly release schedule up until this point, viewers will have to wait a little longer to see the next chapter of this story. So when can they expect to see the next installment of the show?
When is the Better Call Saul season 6 episode 8 release date?
Better Call Saul season 6 episode 8 will release on July 11, 2022, at 9 PM ET on AMC. It will then be added to Netflix in the U.K. a day later on July 12 at 8 AM BST.
This means that the series will take a break throughout the month of June, before returning to our screen in mid-July. Considering the cliffhanger episode 7 left on, this might just be a painful wait for Better Call Saul fans.
In the midseason finale, Lalo Salamanca returned to Saul and Kim’s apartment, interrupting their confrontation with a drunk Howard. After the pair had successfully ruined Howard’s reputation, he storms into their apartment to take them down a peg or two, only for Lalo to make a reappearance with a silenced pistol in hand. Inevitably, things don’t end well for Howard, though both Saul and Kim are left standing by the episode’s end.
We know that Saul survives this series and goes on to become Walter White’s lawyer in Breaking Bad — which brings its own tragic consequences for the characters — but we still don’t know what happens with Kim Wexler. Could this confrontation with Lalo signal her demise? We’ll have to wait until July to find out…
In other news, the PS5 Pro and new Xbox Series X and S could be coming sooner than expected. A Marvel MMORPG has also been unceremoniously canceled.
