World of Warcraft: Legion I Tested If You Can Transmog Demon Hunter Glaives Into Other Weapons

World of Warcraft: Legion's pre-patch will introduce the all-new Demon Hunter class to the game. Although many players have been wanting to use glaives as their main weapon for many years, there are quite a few who aren't happy about how they look mounted on the back of a Night Elf or Blood Elf character, or how large and distracting they are in combat.

The big question is: can you transmog your glaives into something else? Yes. Yes you can.

I can confirm that the Demon Hunter's glaives can be transmogged to one-handed swords or one-handed axes individually. To prove it, I logged into the beta and transmogged my fully leveled artifact glaives into generic one-handed swords, as seen below.

This option is welcomed as it will provide Demon Hunters with reason to farm from the game's large library of collectible transmog weaponry. Previously, there were only a couple glaives that could be collected, and at that point you already exhausted your weapon transmog options. This heavily impacted the individuality of Demon Hunters, as nearly all of them were equipped with a small selection of weapons. Thanks, Blizzard!
