How does Trials of Osiris work?

Trials is a variant of the Crucible Elimination mode. It’s the pinnacle of Destiny 2 PvP and is highly competitive.

To play Trials, you’ll need to own The Witch Queen expansion and complete the “Trials Access” quest. This is a challenging task to complete and requires you to:

  1. Reach the seasonal soft power cap.
  2. Defeat 50 Guardians in Elimination mode
  3. Reach Mythic III rank in Crucible

After accomplishing the above, you can buy a Passage, which is a scorecard needed to play Trials. The main objective is to get a “Flawless” Passage. To do this, you need to win seven games in a row. Doing so will grant you access to the Lighthouse, an exclusive area with some great perks.
