Star Wars Andor: Who Is The B2EMO Voice Actor?

Andor, the latest Star Wars series released on Disney Plus, introduced viewers to B2EMO, an adorable droid who has quickly become a fan favorite after the first three episodes of the show made their way online. But who is the voice actor who plays B2?

Who is Andor’s B2EMO voice actor?

B2EMO is voiced by Dave Chapman, an English puppeteer whose previous work is known by Star Wars fans. The actor is one of two performers who operated BB-8 in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, while he was also the principal performer for Proxima in Solo: A Star Wars Story — the gross-looking, caterpillar-like Grindalid crime boss.

Now, Chapman is B2EMO (or “Bee-Two” as he’s frequently referred to), providing the voice for the robot who shares a special bond with Cassian. B2EMO is officially known as a groundmech salvage assist unit, with him towing scrap for the Andor family. He’s the first robot of his kind to be seen in Star Wars.

It remains to be seen what role B2EMO plays in Andor, given that he does not appear in Rogue One, the film the series serves as a prequel to. It could be that B2EMO simply stays on Ferrix and continues to be a part of the Andor family… or perhaps a less hopeful fate awaits the droid.
