The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power continues this week, and fans are already wondering when they will be able to watch episode 7 of the fantasy series. Episode 7 is the second in the series to be directed by Charlotte Brändström, who made her Rings of Power directorial debut with episode 6, and has in the past worked on the likes of The Witcher, Outlander, and Colony. It also serves as the penultimate episode for this first season, which means audiences can expect some big moves to be made and foundations to be laid for what should be a monumental season 1 finale.
While director Wayne Che Yip returns to helm that final season 1 offering, the multi-year commitment that Amazon Studios has given to Rings of Power means that there is plenty of opportunity for Brändström to return in the future. Prime Video are said to be hoping that the series will go on for five seasons at the very least, with the possibility of a spin-off series also being put into development at some point down the line. As the world’s most expensive TV show, they will be hoping that it brings in enough viewers and maintains interest, so that they can balance the books.
