The Overwatch 2: Invasion PvE story update release date is arriving later this year, and many are wondering when it’s coming out and at what time they will be able to play it. Overwatch 2 Invasion will include new PvE story missions, a PvP core game mode, a new Support hero, and several ways to build your hero’s skills. That said, players will need to purchase the $15 Invasion Bundle to access the DLC’s missions. Here’s when the update is coming out.
When is the Overwatch 2 Invasion release date and time?
The Overwatch 2 Invasion release date is August 10, 2023, and its launch time is 11 am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST.
You will be able to play Overwatch 2 Invasion on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can purchase the DLC through a digital download, with access to the PvE story missions being a part of the Invasion Bundle for Overwatch 2. The $15 bundle will also come with 1,000 Overwatch Coincs, a new Legendary skin for Sojourn, and the opportunity for permanent access to Sojourn as a playable hero for new players.
There will be three Overwatch 2 Invasion PvE missions that will take place in three action-packed missions across the Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, and Gothenburg maps. Completing all Story Mission challenges will unlock Sojourn permanently.
The game’s synopsis reads:
“You’ll fight against the intensified forces of Null Sector, who will continue to attack until you’ve completely dismantled them. Stay alert for challenging enemies that haven’t been encountered before, such as the powerful Artillery and the deadly Stalkers.”
