Zelda: Breath of the Wild How To Complete The Cursed Statue Quest

Just a few hours into your The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild journey you may stumble upon a small house where an NPC will give you a quest titled 'The Cursed Statue'. Little is said other than a short riddle that serves as a clue, and that solving the puzzle will grant access to a hidden shrine.

Here is how you can solve the puzzle.

First, open your Adventure Log and select the quest. This will place a map icon on the location of where you need to go. Before you had there, make sure it's nighttime. Specifically, it needs to be between 9:00PM and 6:00AM. You can adjust the time at a campfire, and one is near the house where you got the quest.

After arriving at your destination, find the statue with purple glowing eyes. This will only appear at nighttime. Once you locate the statue, shoot it in the face with an arrow.

If you don't have any arrows, you can find some enemies both East and West of the location who will drop them.

Upon hitting the statue with the arrow, the secret shrine will open up nearby. Congratulations!
