The Remnant 2 ribbon statue can be found in Losomn, but you may be wondering what to do in order to solve its puzzle. Even if you do have the quest item to interact with the statue, you might be confused as to why nothing is happening. There is indeed an event that you need to trigger before the ribbon puzzle is solved, Just remember to check back with the ribbon statue at a later time so that you can collect the Silver Ribbon or Golden Ribbon. How to solve Remnant 2 ribbon statue puzzle
To solve the ribbon statue puzzle, you first need to wrap the hands of the Fae statues with the Plain Ribbon and then complete The Imposter story quest involving Faerin and Faelin before the ribbon changes into the Silver Ribbon or Golden Ribbon.
To locate the Plain Ribbon, you need to find a corpse in the Gilded Chambers or explore a mine in the Great Hall. Some players report that they found the Plain Ribbon right next to the ribbon statue, so it’s possible that you might be lucky with where this item spawns. Once you have the Plain Ribbon in your inventory, you can interact with the ribbon statue.
After that, you’ll need to complete The Imposter quest that’s given by Nimue. You’ll still solve the ribbon statue quest whether you choose to fight Faerin or Faelin. If the statue is in the Light World, it will turn into a Golden Ribbon. If it’s in the Dark World, it will become a Silver Ribbon. The Golden Ribbon increases Mod damage by 25% and grants Haste for 15 seconds when you activate a Mod, whereas the Silver Ribbon increase Skill damage by 25% and grants Haste for 15 seconds when you activate a Skill.
Note that you can change the light and dark world states of Losomn later in the storyline by collecting mural pieces and then flipping the world between Light or Dark with a lever. So you can eventually choose which ribbon reward you want before you pick the ribbon up from the statue.
Regardless, you can then choose to give the Silver or Golden Ribbon to Nimue and transform it into Nimue’s Ribbon instead. This amulet will increase Relic healing effectiveness by 50% and activate Haste for 25 seconds by activating any Relic.
