Harry Potter isn’t in Hogwarts Legacy. The game takes place in 1890, which is a century before Harry becomes a first-year student at Hogwarts. So, even with magic, it’d be practically impossible for him to be in the game.
Is Harry Potter in Hogwarts Legacy?
Harry Potter isn’t even referred to in Hogwarts Legacy. The game takes place over the 1890 academic year and starts almost exactly 101 years before Harry enters his fateful first year at the school of magic.
Not only is Harry not in the game, but we haven’t spotted any of his ancestors either. His father wouldn’t have been alive at this point. However, it’s possible his great-grandfather, Henry Potter, would have been born by this point. However, we don’t know much about him or Harry’s other ancestors other than his immediate kin, so it’s hard to place them.
While the ancestors of some of the wizards and witches we know from the Harry Potter series appear in Hogwarts Legacy, it’s mostly its own thing. Dumbledore doesn’t even appear, and he’s almost school-aged when the game takes place.
The cast of Hogwarts Legacy is totally original, and we get to know who the big shots of the wizarding world were back in 1890. Even if Harry isn’t in it, there are still plenty of new heroes to root for.
