Is Voldemort in Hogwarts Legacy?

Voldemort isn’t in Hogwarts Legacy. The game takes place around 35 years before Tom Riddle, the man who would be the Dark Lord, was born. Not even a shadow of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named can be found within the halls of 1890s Hogwarts.

Does Voldemort appear in Hogwarts Legacy?

Again, Voldemort was born over 35 years after the events of Hogwarts Legacy. So, there’s no way for him to appear in the game short of time travel (which doesn’t occur). There are dark wizards, and you’ll fight many of them on your adventure. However, none of them are anywhere close to as powerful as Voldemort.

The antagonists of Hogwarts Legacy are a Goblin named Ranrok and a dark wizard named Victor Rookwood. They’re tough characters but nowhere near as powerful and vindictive as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

At this point, Dumbledore and Grindelwald were still children, and the events in the Harry Potter books were a century away. Hogwarts Legacy is set in a hitherto unexplored part of the canon, so don’t expect to see any familiar faces.

However, you will meet some of the ancestors of characters from the core series. There are also plenty more easter eggs that fans of the franchise will enjoy.
