Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix Location Capture Catch

Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix Location: Where to Catch a Phoenix

You have to catch a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy during Deek’s last quest, “Phoenix Rising.” The phoenix is the rarest animal in the game, and this quest is the only chance you have to capture it. So, there’s no use looking for it beforehand.

Where to I capture a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy?

To find the phoenix location in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll have to meet a few requirements:

  • First, unlock The Room of Requirement by completing the quest of the same name.
  • Unlock the Vivarium by completing “The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom.”
  • Complete “The Plight of the House-Elf” quest from Deek.
  • Finish “Foal of the Dead,” side quest also from Deek.

Eventually, you’ll unlock the “Phoenix Rising” quest, which is the last of Deek’s storyline. For us, it became available at the same time the “Prepare for Your O.W.L.S.” main quest unlocked.

Once you’ve accepted the quest, finding the phoenix in Hogwarts Rising is easy. Just follow the marker, and it’ll lead you to Phoenix Mountain. You’ll then need to take down a ton of poachers while tracking the phoenix.

Once you reach the top of the mountain and defeat all the poachers and hostile critters, you’ll get a chance to capture the phoenix. At that point, equip your nab-sack and catch it. Then, you can return to Deek and complete your mission.
