Is Scarlet Centurion in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Mid-Credit Scene With Rama-Tut?

With Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania now out in theaters, fans are discussing the post-credits scenes that take place at the end of the Marvel Studios movie. The first of the two is actually a mid-credit scene that includes the infamous Council of Kangs, and while both Immortus and Rama-Tut are clearly a part of that group, fans are wondering if they also spotted a certain Scarlet Centurion, or if it might be somebody else entirely.

Scarlet Centurion does appear to be in the mid-credits scene for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. While the character is never officially confirmed as being the Scarlet Centurion, their style does appear to match that of one particular costume they have worn in the comics. The glaring difference is that this version of Kang doesn’t seem to actually be wearing any, well, scarlet.

Despite this, many fans are convinced that this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of the Scarlet Centurion. He’s an alien version of Kang, well-versed in the skill of manipulation, while also finding talent in leadership and strategy. There is, of course, also his innate need to conquer, which comes with the territory with most versions of Kang.

It could also be the case that this third Kang is a version of Iron Lad. Inspired by Iron Man’s red and silvery colors, Iron Lad’s costume is named the Silver Centurion. It could be the case that an original costume and version of this character has been created, blending both together and leaving the door open for this younger Kang to become a part of the Young Avengers. This version of Kang is somebody who worked against his older self, fighting against Kang the Conqueror.

Marvel are unlikely to confirm or deny Scarlet Centurion, or Iron Lad’s involvement in this mid-credit scene. For now, fans are going to have to continue to speculate, until their official introduction comes a little later down the line in Phase 5, or beyond.
