MW2 DMZ

MW2 DMZ: Easy Way To Kill a Commander in Warzone 2

For MW2 DMZ mode, the easiest way to kill a Commander has changed since the launch of Season 2. In the first season, the only Commanders that you can kill in the field were the Chemist, Juggernaut, and Helicopter unit. All of them are tough to defeat with their very high health pool, but the second season of Modern Warfare 2 has introduced new commanders, one of which is very easy to defeat if you know what you’re doing.

The easiest way to kill a commander in MW2 DMZ

The easiest way to defeat a commander in MW2 DMZ is to snipe the Bombmaker or to shoot down the Helicopter commander using a SAM.

To eliminate the Bombmaker, there’s a tower that you can climb on Ashika Island that’s near the gas station in Residential. From there you can spot the Bombmaker through a window by using a sniper rifle of your choice. Using the Drexsom Prime-90 Optic attachment, which has 7.5x magnification and thermal target identification, does make it easier to track the Bombmaker.

The other easy option is to capture a SAM site that’s near the helicopter, which will make destroying it rather simple. After taking over a SAM, all you need to do is aggro it with a simple shot to lure it over and watch it be destroyed by rockets. Otherwise, using a LTV or a boat with a minigun can make short work of the helicopter commander from afar.
