Destiny 2 Lightfall Power Level Caps

Destiny 2 Lightfall Max Power Cap: Soft, Power, and Hard Level Caps

The Destiny 2 Lightfall Power cap is 1800, which is a 210 power increase over the previous cap of 1590. As usual, there are also new soft and hard Power level caps as well. Known as a Light Level in the original Destiny, Power levels signify how much damage you do and take. Your max level is an average of all the gear you’re wearing, so you’ll need to be scouring for new items if you want the strength to take on the Lightfall expansion.

What’s the Power level cap in Destiny 2 Lightfall?

The new Power level caps in Destiny 2 Lightfall are:

  • Soft Cap: 1750
  • Power Cap: 1800
  • Hard Cap: 1810

The soft cap is the Power level you can reach by collecting regular gear in the game. You’ll definitely reach this by the end of the new campaign.

You’ll need to earn Powerful Gear to reach the Power cap in Destiny 2.

For the Hard Cap, you’ll need to obtain Pinnacle Gear.

Players must level up their seasonal artifact to go beyond the hard cap. However, a new season won’t launch for a bit, so for now, every Destiny 2 player is stuck at a max of 1810.

The Power Level cap will likely increase when the next season drops, so stay tuned.
