You can get Quicksilver Storm in Destiny 2 by buying the annual pass. Once you purchase the Lightfall annual pass, you can visit Rahool in The Tower, and he’ll give you the Quicksilver Storm Exotic Auto Rifle and the other goodies you get as a bonus. It’s just that easy.

Can you get Quicksilver Storm in Destiny 2 without buying the annual pass?

You can’t get Quicksilver Storm in Destiny 2 without buying the Lightfall annual pass. Also, make sure to decide whether you want it or not before you buy the expansion because there’s or you’ll have to get the annual pass separately.

Once you buy the annual pass, you can pick up the Quicksilver Storm from Rahool, then pop over to the Holoprojector at Strider’s Gate on Neptune, and listen to Banshee-44 to get the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst quest “Any Data Port in a Storm.

To obtain the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst in Destiny 2, you must:

  1. Gain Data: Rapidly defeat combatants in Neomuna with Auto Rifles, Grenades, and Grenade Launchers.
  2. Visit Banshee-44 at the Tower
  3. Combatants Detonated: Use the Quicksilver Storm alt-fire to kill 50 enemies with grenades.

That’s it. It’s a pretty easy catalyst quest and adds a useful new ability to the auto rifle.
