You’ll find a Hexagon puzzle in Chapter 4 of RE4 remake. To solve it, you’ll need to find the locations of Hexagon Piece A, B, and C and insert them into a pedestal near the lake. Then, you’ll need to unscramble them to form a puzzle. We’ll show you how below.
How to solve the Hexagon Piece puzzle near the lake in RE4 remake
Once all the pieces are inserted into the Hexagon puzzle in Resident Evil 4 remake, you have to unscramble an image. Luckily, if you do this right, you can solve the puzzle in two moves.
Rotate the two sections highlighted in the image above counterclockwise, and it’ll line the hexagon pieces up correctly. Once the puzzle is solved, you can pick up the Depraved Idol, which can be sold to the Merchant.

Resident Evil 4 remake Hexagon Piece locations
There are three Hexagon Piece locations you must find in Resident Evil 4 remake before you can solve the puzzle near the lake:
- Hexagon Piece A location: Merchant’s Shop Near Quarry – In a chest across from the Merchant
- Hexagon Piece B location: Fish Farm – In the marsh tucked behind the northwest section of the catwalk near the building containing the gas.
- Hexagon Piece C location: Small Cave Shrine – In case inside past the locked door.
Also, note that you MUST collect these in Chapter 4. Once you rescue Ashley, it’s too late.
