You’ll find the Scratched Emerald location in Resident Evil 4 remake to the north of the Merchant’s shop in the Courtyard. Just head up one flight of stairs and look south. On the ledge above the bags of bones, you’ll see the crow’s nest peeking off the edge. Shoot it, then head down the stairs to grab the emerald. Then head over to the Merchant and sell it to him to complete the Jewel Thief request.

Note you’ll need to complete this request in Chapter 12. Once Chapter 13 starts, it’s too late.

If you want to track down the crow and do the request the right way, start by taking a look at the file:

Jewel Thief

Someone help me recover a stolen jewel snatched by a thieving crow! I bet it can be found in that vile thing’s nest.

It’s an heirloom of our family and cannot become some bird’s plaything.

When you went through the hedge maze, you might have noticed that just before the door with the three flags, there’s an arch with a squawking crow on it. When you get near, it’ll get started and take flight. Follow it, and it’ll lead you to the nest.
