EA Sports PGA Tour Switch Release Date

Is There an EA Sports PGA Tour Nintendo Switch Release Date?

The EA Sports PGA Tour Nintendo Switch release date is a valid topic for fans to think about. The Switch has other sports games in its catalog, like MLB The Show 23 and PGA Tour 2K21, so there is a chance that the revival of the EA’s PGA Tour series could make it to one of the most successful platforms this generation. Here’s whether there’s a release date for EA Sports PGA Tour on Nintendo Switch.

What is the EA Sports PGA Tour Nintendo Switch release date?

There is no release date for EA Sports PGA Tour on Nintendo Switch, and Electronic Arts will likely have no plans of releasing the game on the platform.

According to the official FAQ for the game, it will only be released on current-gen consoles — that’s PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC — due to its “high-fidelity visuals and gameplay” that are only possible on those platforms. For similar reasons, both 2K’s PGA TOUR 2K22 and 2K23 did not make it to the Switch either.

That said, there’s a chance that the game might still make it to a Nintendo console if the Switch 2 is revealed this year. If it’s powerful enough, EA Sports could choose to port the game over to the console at a later date. But as far as the regular Switch is concerned, it will likely not see a release of EA Sports PGA Tour at all.
