Everspace 2’s PC release date is April 6, but PS5 and Xbox owners must wait a little longer to play Everspace 2 on consoles. While a release date has been confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, it’s not the same as for PC. So when is it coming out on consoles?
When is Everspace 2’s PS5 and Xbox console release date?
Everspace 2’s PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release date window is Summer 2023, meaning that it will launch between June 21–September 23.
Everspace 2 has been in Early Access on PC for two years, receiving six major content updates to prep it for full launch. There are no plans for a similar beta program for consoles.
Everspace 2 will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on April 6 and is fully optimized for Steam Deck.
Will Everspace 2 come to PS4 and Xbox One?
Everspace 2 will not come to PS4 or Xbox One. This is due to the hardware limitations of older consoles. The game was originally planned to come to these consoles, but performance issues meant development was canceled in early 2023.
Everspace 2 expands on nearly every aspect of its predecessor, and thanks to the power of current-gen consoles, we can expect some phenomenal graphics. If you can’t play it on PC, we’ll update you with a release date as soon as possible.
