Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: How to Get Past Green Force Fields

The first time you encounter green force fields in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you won’t be able to open them. You’ll have to make it quite a ways into the game before you gain the ability to get past the green laser gates. Fortunately, the item you need to get through the energy barriers isn’t something you can miss.

How to get through the green laser gates in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

To pass through the green force fields in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you need to get Merrin’s Magicked Charm. You’ll get this while exploring the Sanctuary Temple in Chapter 4.1. While running from the Imperial forces attacking the sanctuary, you’ll run into one of the green energy barriers, and Merrin will give you her charm, which will allow you to push through them.

Once you have the charm, you can get through the force fields by jumping and dashing toward them. A helpful side effect of this ability is that your Jedi Flip (double jump) and dash are recharged each time you pass through a barrier.

As you continue to explore the game, you’ll find areas where you’ll need to combo jumping and dashing through multiple laser gates to make it across long distances.
