Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Whirly Swirly Things Solution

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Whirly Swirly Things Solution: What Does Kula Want You to Photograph?

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Whirly Swirly Things quest can be frustrating to complete, but we’ve got the solution. The problem is that the quest-giver, a Korok named Kula, wants Link to find a “whirly circle” and take a picture of it in areas around TotK. The answer is probably not too difficult to figure out, but then finding out where to photograph what Kula wants might give you some trouble. Here’s what Kula wants you to find and where to snap a shot of it with your camera to complete Whirly Swirly Things in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

What is the Whirly Swirly Things quest solution?

The “big, swirly thing” that Kula wants you to photograph is a whirlpool in the water and then later a whirlpool in the sand.

Since the Korok can’t leave the forest, Kula wants Link to snap shots of these whirlpools spread throughout Hyrule as proof that they are actually real. There are several water whirlpools in the game, though the simplest to find is the one on the eastern side of Lake Hylia. If you’ve found the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, you can teleport there and paraglide your way to the spot.

When you take out the camera and snap a shot of the whirlpool, look out for a red exclamation point that tells you that you’ve got what you need for the quest.

Show the shot to the Korok and it will want you grab a shot of a “big swirly sand circle” next, which is a whirlpool of quicksand. There’s one at the East Gerudo Ruins that’s south of the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, and there’s another next to a cave southwest of Kara Kara Bazaar. Take your pick.

Either way, once you take a shot of the sinkhole, you can head back to Kula and finish the quest to receive a bundle of five Endura Carrots.
