Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Diamond Circlet Location

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Diamond Circlet Location & Upgrade List

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom diamond circlet is one of the best helms in the game, so it’s not surprise that many players want to know its location and list of upgrades. When completely upgraded in TotK, the diamond circlet has a permanent attack up boon and a base defense stat of 28, which is among the highest of all helmets in the game so far. For those who care about fashion, it also allows Link to let down his hair without it being overly obscured and hidden behind fabric or metal. Here’s where you to buy the diamond circlet and how much it costs to upgrade in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

What is the location of the diamond circlet in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

The diamond circlet can be found for purchase at the Starlight Memories jewelry shop in Gerudo Town for 2400 rupees. For precise coordinates, the store is located at around -3822, -2885, 0043.

This is the same shop where Link can find the owner of the shop who has gone missing and is being harried by a massive Molduga. You can purchase the Ruby Circlet and Sapphire Circlet in the shop, though they are mainly used for general cold and heat resistance, respectively. Being able to purchase the diamond circlet outright is much more straightforward than having to find it in a chest in a maze from Breath of the Wild, though 2400 rupees is not a paltry sum.

What materials do you need to upgrade the diamond circlet?

The following is what you need to upgrade the diamond circlet at each tier:

  • Tier 1: Flint x 3, Diamond x 2, Rupees x 10
  • Tier 2: Flint x 5, Diamond x 3, Rupees x 50
  • Tier 3: Diamond x 5, Star Fragment x 1, Rupees x 200
  • Tier 4: Diamond x 8, Star Fragment x 2, Rupees x 500

The toughest of the materials to find is by far the 18 diamonds. Unless you have used the duplication glitch before the 1.1.2 patch notes, you’ll need to search caves for ore deposits specifically for them. That said, the upgrades for the diamond circlet is still very much worth the trouble.
