Diablo 4 XP Farm Exploit Maugan's Works Dungeon Glitch

Diablo 4 XP Farm Exploit: Maugan’s Works Dungeon Glitch Explained

A Diablo 4 XP farm exploit is making the rounds that hasn’t been addressed by Blizzard yet. Many players have been using the Maugan’s Works dungeon as a method to gain a lot of experience points in a short period of time. To reach Level 100 fast, players have been mining this dungeon and resetting it over and over again for about a quarter-million XP every minute if they’re consistent and lucky. They’ll also get a large number of legendary items along the way. Now, if you’re at all worried about being banned for using this exploit, we recommend that you avoid this farming method altogether. That said, here’s how this Diablo 4 farm exploit works.

How the Diablo 4 XP farm exploit works using Maugan’s Works

This is how players are using the Diablo 4 XP farm exploit using the Maugan’s Works dungeon:

  1. Enter the Maugan’s Works dungeon located at the Fethis Wetlands in the Hawezar region
  2. Go through the dungeon and find a pack of enemies that consists entirely of elites. There are two of these packs in the dungeon and they sometimes spawn next to one another. If that happens, just be careful when approaching them.
  3. If you are in a party of four, split up to make it faster to find both of these packs.
  4. Once you’ve earned the XP from killing both packs, reset the dungeon:
    • If you’re solo, leave the dungeon so that you’re standing outside. Then leave the game and then log back in.
    • If you’re in a party, have one member leave. This will kick everyone out. Then have a party member invite every player back.

Of course, running this dungeon at a higher World Tier, like Nightmare or Torment, will increase both the experience point gain as well as the rate of legendary drops.

Since this exploit uses the mechanics of Diablo 4 in unintended ways, Blizzard will likely not punish anyone who uses this strategy to farm XP. But there’s always a chance that the developers will choose to penalize players and nerf this XP farm. So it may just be better to play the game normally, collecting legendary gear and flawless gems at your own pace.
