While The New York Times Digits game is still technically in beta, it’s become popular enough to be called the “Wordle math puzzle.” As always, be warned that reading past this point will lead to spoilers, but what that out of the way, here are today’s Digits answers.

Today’s NYT Digits answer hints – June 12, 2023

In most cases, you should take two of the three larger numbers and multiply them together to get as close as possible to the target. Then use the other numbers to adjust this subtotal until you reach the final answer. The last puzzle, though, usually requires that you think a bit outside the box. That said, here are some hints for today’s NYT Digits answer:

  • The fourth puzzle will require one division operation
  • The fifth puzzle only needs three operations to clear

As always, you may not need to use all six numbers you’re given to reach the target number. There may also be alternate ways to get the target number, so feel free to experiment a bit.
