Remnant 2: How to Avoid Nightweaver Instant Kill in Solo

Beating the Nightweaver solo in Remnant 2 presents a challenge, mostly because of her instant kill attack in her second phase. It’s incredibly annoying to have her on the ropes only to have her grab you through a wall and instakill you from full health. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to avoid this and take her down for good.

How to beat Nightweaver solo in Remnant 2

To avoid Nightweaver’s instant kill attack, make sure not to go near any walls when she’s not around. Her grab doesn’t give you much of a warning, so it’s hard to dodge. So your best bet is to just not give her a chance.

Unfortunately, not even Handlers are immune from this frustration. The Nightweaver has one of the few attacks in the game that the Bonded perk can’t revive you from. This instakill is an immediate game over, and your dog can’t do anything for you.

However, other than the wall grab, the Nightweaver’s second phase is relatively easy. While the fight with her first phase can get frantic, her second form just crawls around pathetically, and the majority of her attacks have a big windup. If you stay away from the walls, you mostly just have to dodge two claw attacks and then fill her full of lead.

When her health starts getting low during her second phase, she does start doing a dive where she fires the ice projectiles at you from her first phase. However, she doesn’t have the ability to spam them like she did previously, so you can dodge through them easily.

One of the key things to remember in this fight is to not waste your mods. You can either save them to take down the explosive beetles she spawns or wait for her to finish her cycle in the wall, then hammer her. You may die a few times, but you’ll have her beat before you know it.
