Remnant 2 Severed Hand Glitch Bug

Remnant 2 Severed Hand Glitch: How to Farm Scrap Using Infinite Item Bug

The Remnant 2 Severed Hand glitch allows players to farm Scrap using an infinite spawning bug. By attacking a particular cage in Harvester’s Reach in a certain way, you can earn multiple copies of the Severed Hand, which is normally a Quest Item. Since this is based on a bug, developer Gunfire Games will likely patch this eventually, so we recommend taking advantage of this glitch as soon as possible before a patch or hotfix comes around. Here’s how to use the Severed Hand bug for a lot of Scrap in Remnant 2.

How to use the Remnant 2 Severed Hand glitch

You can use the following steps to activate the Severed Hand glitch:

  1. Activate the waypoint to The Great Sewers or Harvester’s Reach in Losomn. (You may need to reroll Adventure Mode to get this location.)
  2. Explore The Great Sewers or Harvester’s Reach until you reach a chamber with a lot of hanging cages and multiple levels
  3. One of these hanging cages will have a purple glow (see image above), indicating that it is holding the Severed Hand quest item
  4. From the staircase below, use the Merciless, Hellfire, or Nebula weapons on the cage with the item
  5. Pick up the multiple copies of the Severed Hand quest item into your inventory
  6. Earn 250 scrap every time you examine a Severed Hand and repeat as necessary

Eventually, you will need to reset the dungeon once you run out of ammo on your weapon. You’ll still get a large amount of Scrap with each run.

However, if you have the Alchemist archetype leveled up enough so that you have the “Gold to Lead” perk, then you’ll have a chance of getting ammo back while collecting scrap. On average, this will allow you to farm the Severed Hand for as long as you want without having to reset.

Until this bug is fixed, this is the best way to earn an incredible amount of Scrap. This will allow you to purchase as much Galvanized Iron and Hardened Iron as you might need from vendors.
