Starfield Luxury Textile Location: Where to Find Unique Material

The Starfield luxury textile material is a unique resource that can be very tough to find. The material isn’t used a lot in research or crafting, but there are some recipes like the Decoration 3 Research Project for Outpost Development that require luxury textile at the research lab station. Sadly, trying to get this resource by wandering various stores can be a fruitless endeavor. The same goes for hopping from planet to planet, hoping to extract the material from organic resources or seeing it drop from creatures. So to save you some time, here’s where you can find and get the luxury textile in Starfield.

Where to where Starfield luxury textile location

There are primarily three ways to find luxury textile in the game:

  • Find and kill foxbats – If you are able to locate various foxbat creatures on a planet, they have a high chance of dropping luxury textile. You can head to the planet Schrodinger III in the Schrodinger system to find these foxbats.
  • Head to general goods store – Perhaps you don’t want to kill any of the admittedly adorable foxbats. In this case, you can head to any general goods store like Jemison Mercantile on New Atlantis, Midtown Minerals on Akila City, or the UC Exchange shop in Cydonia. There’s a small chance that they will have luxury textile in stock.
  • Use console commands – You can use the additem console command with the item code 0000559E for luxury textile in order to get as many luxury textiles that you need. This will disable Achievements, but you can get around this by using an Starfield Achievement Enabler mod.

Out of all of the solutions above, we recommend going to Schrodinger III. You should be able to find foxbats very easily and you only need a few luxury textiles to complete the research anymore.

Otherwise, you can head to the general good stores, and if they don’t have any luxury textile, you can use the vendor refresh trick until they have them in stock.
