MW3 Golden Enigma Not Working Tracking Camo Unlock Bug Fix Modern Warfare 3

MW3 Golden Enigma Not Working Bug Fix: Why Is Zombies Camo Challenge Not Tracking?

An irritating MW3 Golden Enigma not working bug is preventing many players from unlocking the camo for their favorite guns in Zombies mode. This is actually occurring for both the Golden Enigma and Golden Ivory camos for various weapons, but the Golden Enigma skin is generally more desirable.

Looking at several posts on multiple Modern Warfare 3 threads on Reddit, this issue impacts most weapons, including knives, kodachis, MCW, and many more. A part of the problem is the tricky challenge that asks you to claim 100 kills with the weapon, but despite players doing that, the objectives refuses to clear or is not tracking properly. Here are some ways to fix the Golden Enigma camo bug for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for all platforms.

How to fix MW3 Golden Enigma not working or tracking bug

The following are a few ways to fix the Golden Enigma not working bug and to unlock the camo for Call of Duty Zombies for MW3:

  • Kill 100 Zombies in the right way – The description for the Golden Enigma challenge is not worded very well. You need to kill 100 zombies during an exfil sequence and then exfil in the same sequence.
  • Wait for developers to fix the issue – Sledgehammer Games has acknowledged this Golden Enigma bug on the public Trello for Modern Warfare 3, stating that they are investigating why this camo and the Golden Ivory camo are not working with specific loadout configurations.

If you are experiencing this bug, the developers actually wish you to share the bug with them directly by either tweeting @TreyarchCM on Twitter or by heading to this Reddit thread with additional info.

On a similar note, the developers have revealed that they have fixed the Golden Enigma completionist camo for the Striker and the Rival-9 SMGs. It’s unclear when they will have a fix for the skin on a broader scale for the rest of the weapons.
