How to Get Umbreon in Pokemon Go

Umbreon is a dark-type Pokemon. It has high defense and special defense stats. Being a fast Pokemon makes Umbreon a great choice for attacking. To get Umbreon, you can use two methods:

  1. Walking the Buddy Distance: Set Eevee as your buddy Pokemon and walk 10 kilometers with it. Once you’ve walked this distance, evolve Eevee during the nighttime to evolve it into Umbreon.
  2. Nickname Trick: Rename your Eevee to “Tamao” before triggering the evolution process. This special nickname will guarantee Eevee’s evolution into Umbreon.

How to Get Espeon in Pokemon Go

Espeon is a psychic-type Pokemon that is known for its high special attack stat. It is also a very fast Pokemon, making it a great choice for attacking. To acquire Espeon, you can also use two methods:

  1. Walking the Buddy Distance: Similar to Umbreon, set Eevee as your buddy Pokemon and walk 10 kilometers together. This time, evolve Eevee during the daytime to evolve Eevee into Espeon.
  2. Nickname Trick: Rename your Eevee to “Sakura” before initiating the evolution process. This specific nickname will ensure Espeon’s evolution.

How to Get Sylveon in Pokemon Go

Sylveon is a fairy-type Pokemon known for its high special defense stat. It is also a very versatile Pokemon, making it a great choice for both attacking and defending.

  1. Friendship Hearts: Earn 70 hearts with Eevee as your buddy Pokemon. These hearts are gained through interacting with Eevee, including walking together, battling, and feeding it berries. Once you’ve accumulated 70 hearts, evolve Eevee to welcome Sylveon to your team.
  2. Nickname Trick: Nickname Eevee to “Rea”, and then evolve her. When you nickname your Pokemon before evolving you have a guaranteed Eevee to Sylveon evolution.

It’s important to note that the nickname trick only works once per Eeveelution. If you’ve used the nickname method to evolve an Eevee, you’ll need to use an alternate method for subsequent Eevee evolutions.
