Palworld How to Cure Depressed Pals

Palworld Depressed Pal: How to Cure Depression

A Depressed Pal refers to one that is experiencing a state of low morale and mental well-being in Palworld. This condition affects the Pal’s behavior and performance. Depressed Pals work slower, tire more easily, and exhibit behaviors that hinder their usual tasks and responsibilities. So, curing a Pal of depression in Palworld is imperative if you want them to be as productive as possible.

To maintain a healthy and productive environment in Palworld, players must monitor their Pals’ well-being and take proactive measures to counter signs of depression.

How do you cure a depressed pal in Palworld?

Palworld Cure Depression

A depressed Pal in Palworld is just like it sounds: your creature companion is feeling down and out. Just like real pets or even ourselves, Pals can become unhappy and less motivated under certain conditions. Several things can contribute to a Pal’s depression. Overwork, poor living conditions (cramped or uncomfortable housing), and lack of affection are all potential triggers. Just like us, they need breaks, good living conditions, and some TLC!

Players can notice changes in their Pal’s behavior if they’re getting depressed. They become less active, sleep more, have decreased appetite, or work slower. Additionally, a “Depressed” status effect will appear under their name on the roster page. Unfortunately, depression doesn’t just affect your Pal’s mood. It also impacts their performance. Depressed Pals are less productive, work slower, and are more likely to slack off. This can impact your base’s overall efficiency.

Rest and Recuperation

This method is free but takes longer. Simply place the depressed Pal in the Pal Box. They will automatically regain Sanity over time until their depression lifts. This method is less ideal if you need your Pal back in action quickly.

High Grade Medical Supplies

This method is faster but requires crafting and resources. Reach level 12 in the Technology tree to unlock the Medieval Medicine Workbench. Craft High-Grade Medical Supplies using 2 Bones (dropped by various Pals like Gorirat), 5 Horns (dropped by various Pals with horns), and 5 Ingots (obtained by smelting ore).

Once you have crafted the High Grade Medical Supplies, approach the depressed Pal. Open your inventory and select the option to feed the medicine to the depressed Pal. The Pal should then recover from their depressed state and return to normal productivity and happiness levels. This method is faster and more targeted but requires investment in materials and crafting.
