Where to find Scout Striders in Helldivers 2

Players can find Scout Striders on planets that have a red background when viewing the Galactic War map. Players must be playing on Medium difficulty or higher for Scout Striders to appear

Since the red-background planets are infested with automaton-type enemies, players can eventually find Scout Striders as they patrol near enemy bases.

Scout Striders look significantly different than other automatons in the game. They are three times taller than the average player and resemble the Imperial AT-ST from Star Wars. Also, Scout Striders are primarily run by robots who operate the vehicle from the exposed backside.

How to kill 20 Scout Striders in Helldivers 2

Players can kill Scout Striders by getting behind them and attacking the robot that operates the vehicle or by throwing explosives at them.

The easiest way to kill a Scout Strider is by taking down the robot operating the massive vehicle. Although the front of these Scout Striders offers ample protection, the exposed back leaves the pilot vulnerable to damage.

The pilot barely has any health and dies pretty easily once players get the right angle to shoot them from. However, dodging incoming attacks while trying to get behind any Scout Strider can be difficult due to their attack range. Grenades can come in handy here.
