Report: Harmonix Working on New Rock Band Game

It's been a few years since the last Rock Band game, but Harmonix is working on the next entry in the franchise according to a recent Bloomberg report.

An anonymous source close to the project says Harmonix is developing the next Rock Band for current gen consoles, specifically the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No other details were revealed.

The last release in the beloved franchise was Rock Band Blitz in 2012, and it's been an additional two years since the last main entry with plastic instruments.

Earlier this week Harmonix introduced brand new DLC to Rock Band 3, marking the second occasion in the last two months. It seems Harmonix may be gathering Rock Band-related buzz in anticipation of a new game announcement.
