Turkey Looking to Ban Minecraft

It looks like Minecraft may soon no longer be playable in Turkey. Believe it or not, the country is reportedly seeking to ban Mojang's hit world-building phenomenon because of its in-game violence.

Yes, you heard me correctly. The fact that the game features mild violence toward animals and various enemies within its game world has Turkey's Family and Social Policies Ministry seeking to remove it from the nation entirely.

Because Minecraft is a game loved by so many children, the nation is investigating the title's impact on the behavior of kids both in terms of violence and "social isolation."

Do you think there are harmful aspects to Minecraft that should be kept away from children?
