Level-5 Preps Big Project Announcement, Fantasy Life Sequel

Japanese developer Level-5 has been hard at work on a big new project, and it looks like the company is getting closer to an official announcement.

According to a press release translated by Siliconera, Level-5 plans to reveal the project at an April 7th event titled “Level 5 Vision 2015: The Beginning." The upcoming release is labeled as a "next generation major cross-media project," and Level-5 hopes to match the popularity of Yo-Kai Watch in Japan with it.

The April event will also feature announcements for Fantasy Life 2 and the next Professor Layton game. The first Fantasy Life came to North America just last year after a 2012 release in Japan, so hopefully Level-5 plans an earlier localization for the sequel.

Level-5 has a few other surprises for the event, which will be livestreamed online so Japanese-speaking fans can follow along.
