I don't think there's ever a bad time for Final Fantasy VII. My acquisition of the Final Fantasy XV demo required me to actually connect my video game shit to the internet, which led me down this path of realizations:

  • Oh, hey, I have a bunch of funds in my PSN wallet because there's never any reason to spend them.
  • Oh, hey, Final Fantasy VII exists.
  • Oh, hey, I still have my PSOne CD version but want to play this on my Vita so, fuck it, there's never a bad time.
  • Oh, hey, I'm probably part of the problem because they won't remake this game so long as the old version still goes strong.
  • Oh, hey, Midgar might be one of the best opening sections of any RPG ever.
  • Oh, hey, two hours have gone by.
